Kantilo, 14/4: On the instructions of Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik, Chief Minister’s Secretary (5T) Shri VK Pandian today visited the Kantilo Neelmadhava Peetha to pay a visit to the Mahaprabhu and discuss with the locals and services about the improvement of the Peetha.
Kantilo is a famous religious tourist destination in Nayagarh district. The beauty of the Neelmadhava Peetha on the banks of the river Mahanadi is very picturesque. The government is working on how to attract more tourists by developing the site in the .5T program.
In addition, various facilities will be developed for the benefit of the devotees coming here.
It is learned that a master plan will be drawn up soon and submitted to the Chief Minister for approval.
The Department of Public Works has been tasked with this.
During the visit, Shri B.S. B Yadav, Nayagarh district magistrate and senior officials were present.
