Ahmed, 16/9: A metro court in Ahmedabad has sentenced Dalit leader and Independent MLA Jignesh Mevani and 18 others to six months jail.
The verdict is in regard to a case registered for holding protest at Gujarat university for naming a law dept’s building after Dr B R Ambedkar.
