Rayagada, : Utkal Alumina International limited participatedin MSME Melaheld from 5th to 9th March 2023 at Rayagada, Odisha where they had displayed a total of 11 stalls showcasing its CSR and Sustainability initiatives.The CSR stall is positioned with Project Saksham and Project Koushalya, while Project Udyamee has positioned its 08 enterprises on the ground.
Out of 100 stalls displayed during the occasion, Project Udyamee of Utkal Alumina won the 1st Position in the MSME Mela for its innovation and sustainable future goals for budding entrepreneurs. The project iscommitted towards entrepreneurship development and contributing to the national agenda of “AtmaNirbhar Bharat”.
This project is creating an entrepreneurial ecosystem in the tribal hinterland of Raygada and Kalahandi, creating first-generation entrepreneurs. Utkal Alumina’s entrepreneurs are proud to be a part of the Entrepreneurs Exhibition 2023, where they have displayed their innovative and sustainable initiatives. The project is a shining example of how entrepreneurship can empower people and contribute to the growth of the community.
Hon’ble Cabinet Minister Shri. Jagannath Saraka along with Shri MakarandaMuduli, MLA Rayagada visited and inaugurated the stalls of UAIL CSR and Sustainability at MSME Mela, Rayagada. Theypraised Utkal Alumina team for their efforts and encouraged the budding entrepreneurs and enterprises.
The valedictory ceremony of the event was graced by Mr. Bhaskar Banerjee, Vice President, Finance & Commercialas Chief Guest. Sri Bikash Chandra Bain, OAS (SAG), GM DIC, Rayagada, Sri Bibhuti Bhusan Pattnaik, DGM, IMFA, Sri Biswajit Dwivedi, Vice President, Commercial, JK Papers, Sri S.K. Tauduia, DSP HQRS, SP Office, Rayagada along with GM Dr Lopamudra Priyadarshini(CSR, CR & S) UAIL were among the dignitaries present.
The recognition has encouraged the UDYAMEE, CSR and Sustainability Teams of Utkal Alumina to work harder in giving back to the community and creating sustainable future.
