ICC World Cup: Top-order shines as India beat Afghanistan by 8 wickets

New Delhi, 11/10: A brilliant batting display from India’s top-order ensured an 8-wicket victory for men in blue against Afghanistan, at Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium on Wednesday.

Chasing a target of 273, India got to a dream start, with skipper Rohit Sharma hitting 131 off 84 balls. Meanwhile, local boy Virat Kohli continued his fine form in the tournament, and played an unbeaten 55 off 56 balls. Rohit’s fellow opener Ishan Kishan.
