Subarnapur , 6/2: 2 Hardcore Women( Female )Maoist Surrendered to Police South Range IGP Jayanarayan Pankaj In a press conference held at the Boudh District Police Headquarters, the two surrendered women( Female )hardcore militants welcomed and promised to provide all facilities to the government. Raj Prasad was accompanied by other officers. The two hard-core Maoists were 21-year-old Manisha Thati and 22-year-old Champa Koram. Both hailed from Chhattisgarh and had joined the KKBN division. They were working in the CPI (Maoist) organization since 2018. was involved in the incident. They were disturbed and frustrated by the unethical activities of women cadres in the Maoist organizations like sexual harassment, false promises, intimidation and funding of youths. Finally, they surrendered after being attracted by the government’s surrender and rehabilitation plan and decided to lead a normal life. On the other hand, South Range IGP and Boudh SP advised those who are still working in the Maoist organizations to surrender and take advantage of the government’s surrender and rehabilitation scheme.Report – Ugrasen Karmi.
