Sambalpur, 21 June 2024 – On the occasion of 10th International Day of Yoga, special Camps were organized at operational Areas and headquarters of Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) in Odisha wherein employees and their wards participated with great enthusiasm. Shri Uday A Kaole, CMD, MCL with Shri A.K. Behura participated in a Yoga camp at MCL Bhubaneswar. Shri Keshav Rao, Director(Personnel) and Shri Jugal Kumar Borah Director(Tech/Operation) along with officials joined the session at MCL headquarters in Sambalpur, Odisha.
The Area General Managers and Project Officers with their teams participated in Yoga Camps organized at different places in Angul, Jharsuguda and Sundargarh districts of Odisha.
The program had yoga sessions that included various asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), and meditation practices aimed at promoting physical and mental well-being.
MCL continues to support such initiatives, reinforcing its commitment to fostering a healthy and balanced work environment.
