FACOR’s active steps for the relief operations for cyclone Dana

Bhadrak, Odisha – October 25, 2024 – In response to the devastating impact of Cyclone Dana, Ferro Alloys Corporation Limited (FACOR), one of India’s oldest and most reputable producers of Charge Chrome, has activated relief operations in Bhadrak, Odisha. The company has deployed its team and mobile health units to provide essential support to affected communities.

Taking proactive measures, FACOR has distributed 400 kg of essential fodder to ensure the survival of stray cattle during the cyclone. The company also established a Mobile Health Camps for individuals in need of medical assistance. Additionally, FACOR has provided shelter, food, and drinking water to more than 100 villagers affected by the disaster.

In light of the extreme weather conditions, which have uprooted numerous trees throughout the city, FACOR’s rescue team has commenced clearing efforts to remove fallen trees and restore safe passage for emergency services. Volunteers and personnel from the company are actively engaged in community welfare and rescue operations, including the distribution of essential food items to nearby villages.
