Mumbai, 23/11: The Bharatiya Janata Party-led ruling Maha Yuti has crossed the halfway mark against the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi in the race to the 15th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, as per early trends.
Beating anti-incumbency, the saffron party is leading in 101 seats while the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena is leading in 53 and the Ajit Pawar-led NCP in over 33 seats. Meanwhile, there is a see-saw battle in 100-plus seats where the margins are very close.
