Bhubaneswar, Nov. 28: Prof. Basanta Kumar Panda, Project
Director of the Centre of Excellence for Studies in Classical Odia, on
Thursday called on Prof. (Dr.) Manojranjan Nayak, Founder President of
Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) here, and held discussions with the latter.
The discussion, which was preliminary in nature, pertained to the
possibility of SOA launching a training program for raising quality
teachers to meet the state’s requirement.
Prof. Panda also honoured Prof. (Dr.) Nayak with a shawl and
presented him a copy of the book ‘Narendra Nandanika’.
Prof. Nachieketa K. Sharma, SOA’s Director, International
Relations and University Outreach Program, was present during the
meeting.
