Mumbai,28/11: The rift within Maha Vikas Aghadi deepened further as the Leader of the Opposition in Legislative Council Ambadas Danve on Thursday said that had Uddhav Thackeray been declared as the Chief Ministerial candidate, the outcome of the elections would have been different.
Danve’s statement comes a day after he said that Shiv Sena (UBT) was contemplating going alone in the forthcoming civic and local bodies polls – a statement that rattled the MVA allies Congress and Sharad Pawar-headed NCP (SP).
