‘Dhadi Darshan’ at Puri Srimandira from New Year, barricade work underway for crowd control,

The famous Lord Jagannath temple, the Srimandira in Puri of Odisha will reportedly have ‘Dhadi Darshan’ (queued visit to get a glimpse of the deities) arrangement from the New Year.The footfall of devotees to the Puri temple has started to increase. Keeping in view the heavy crowd during upcoming Christmas and New Year, preparations have been started for crowd control.As per reports, Dhadi Darshan arrangement will be made in the New Year. Preparations are being made for this. Barricading work with bamboos has started. The Demo will be held on the 30th and 31st December.Keeping in mind the New Year crowd, special barricades are being set up from Marichikote Chhaka to the temple office on the grand road, the Badadanda.During the New Year darshan, devotees will enter through this barricade through the Singhadwara, the Lion’s Gate of the temple and exit through other gates.
