Jajpur: In a shocking incident in Jajpur, a bus suddenly caught fire on NH 16 near Chatia on Saturday. The passengers present in the bus luckily had a narrow escape.According to information, the bus was travelling from Bhubaneswar to Keonjhar when it suddenly caught fire in jajpur. The bus had around 50 passengers who were safely rescued.Fire tenders reached the spot and doused the fire. After preliminary investigation it was found that the battery of the bus suffered a short circuit due to faulty wires. After the short circuit in the battery, fumes rose from the bus. Seeing this the driver stopped the bus and the passengers got down from the bus.
