Six new facilities to be inaugurated at Nandankanan Zoological Park during 65th Foundation Day tomorrow
Bhubaneswar: Visitors and tourists will now get to enjoy six new facilities at the Nandankanan Zoological Park in Bhubaneswar as the Zoo authorities have planned to begin these facilities during the 65th Foundation Day tomorrow. Odisha Forests, Environment & Climate Change Minister Ganesh Ram Singh Khuntia is slated to attend the Foundation Day celebration as Chief Guest and launch the facilities at 3 PM. As informed by the Zoo authorities, the Foundation Day will feature the inauguration of new facilities, the release of movies and publications, the felicitation of outstanding performers, and the announcement of the new Zoo Ambassadors for the year. The new facilities planned for inauguration include:
- Zoo Security Staff Residential Complex
- Zoo Library & Digital Hub
- Upgraded Bear Enclosure
- Centre of Conservation Research and Training
- Birds Quarantine Facility
- Kanjia Wetlands Discovery Trail
These additions aim to enhance the infrastructure, research, and visitor experience at Nandankanan Zoological Park.
