Many airports are covered with a thick layer of snow. According to the weather service, the temperature in many areas has reached a minimum of minus 18 degrees due to the snowstorm. The department has warned people against stepping out of their homes unless very necessary. Life is constantly being affected due to snowstorms and cold winds. A state of emergency has been declared in many states due to the snowstorm in America. Along with this, people have been advised to be alert. About 60 million people across the United States will be affected due to this snowstorm. Winter storm alerts have been issued from Montana in the Rocky Mountains in the northwest of the country to the coastal states of Maryland, Delaware and Virginia.
