Life in America has been disrupted by a severe snowstorm. Millions of people are trapped in their homes due to the snowstorm. Roads are jammed. Some people have also lost their lives. Reports say that, more than 60 million people have been affected by the snowstorm from the East Coast to New Jersey. Due to snowfall, ice, strong winds and a drop in temperature, the situation has become dangerous in some parts of America. The snowstorm has terrified everyone in the country. According to reports, more than 175,000 people have been forced to live without electricity in Virginia. 2,400 flights have been canceled due to the snowstorm. More than a thousand flights have been delayed. Railway travel has been severely affected due to the snowstorm. More than 50 trains have been canceled. Air traffic and road traffic have been affected due to the bone-chilling cold. There is 18 inches snow on the roads. Many roads have been closed due to continuous snowfall in America. Many airports are covered with a thick layer of snow. According to the weather service, the temperature in many areas has reached a minimum of minus 18 degrees due to the snowstorm. The department has warned people against stepping out of their homes unless very necessary. Life is constantly being affected due to snowstorms and cold winds. A state of emergency has been declared in many states due to the snowstorm in America. Along with this, people have been advised to be alert. About 60 million people across the United States will be affected due to this snowstorm. Winter storm alerts have been issued from Montana in the Rocky Mountains in the northwest of the country to the coastal states of Maryland, Delaware and Virginia.
