Melbourne, 21/1: Serbian tennis great Novak Djokovic defeated Spanish sensation Carlos Alcaraz in a blockbuster Australian Open quarterfinal on Tuesday to reach yet another grand slam semifinal in his bid to win a record-extending 25 majors.
The 24-time grand slam champion outlasted Alcaraz 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 6-4, in a hard fought quarterfinal match, as he aims to win his 11th Australian Open title.
