Bhubaneswar: In a tragic incident, a school student was killed, and 20 others sustained injuries after a pickup van carrying them overturned near the Athagarh area, near Banki in Cuttack district, on Sunday. According to reports, the vehicle, carrying over 20 students of Malaviharapur High School, was on its way to the Republic Day parade ground at Ansupa Lake when it lost control and overturned. Around 20 students sustained injuries; five of them were critically injured and were admitted to the Athagarh Community Health Centre. The five critically injured students were later shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
