Class 11 student asked to leave exam hall after requesting sanitary pad in UP, probe ordered

Lucknow, 26/1: In a shocking incident, a student, who got her periods during her examination, was not provided a sanitary pad by the college officials, instead was made to stand outside the headmistress’ office for one hour before being sent back home.

According to the reports, the 11th class student, who studied at a private college in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly town, felt humiliated as she stood outside the office of the headmistress even as her bleeding continued. She had to finally go home.
