Bhubaneswar : NTPC celebrated the 76th Republic Day with great enthusiasm in Bhubaneswar. Shri
Arindam Sinha, Regional Executive Director (RED), Eastern Region II, hoisted the
National Flag at the NTPC premises in Pukhariput, Bhubaneswar.
In his address, the RED highlighted the power generation performance of the Eastern
Region II units and updated attendees on the progress of the Talcher Thermal projects,
which are progressing according to the company's set schedule. He also mentioned the
installation of a 340 KWp Solar Power System at the Swami Vivekanand National
Institute of Rehabilitation and Research, Bhubaneswar, under CSR initiatives.
Furthermore, he shared that NTPC is in the advanced stages of providing medical
equipment to AIIMS Bhubaneswar, with an allocation of Rs. 54 lakhs for the purpose.
Senior officials from NTPC ER II, members of Vasudha Mahila Mandal and security
personnel were present for the occasion.
