Malkangiri: Maoists have killed a villager suspecting him to be a Police informer in Odisha-Chhattisgarh border area in the Bijapur district of Chhattishgarh. The incident took place in the Kesamundi village of Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh, bordering Odisha’s Malkangiri district. The deceased has been identified as Hidma Sodhi. As per reports, the Maoists brutally murdered him with a sharp weapon. Maoist posters were also seen at the scene of the incident. The poster mentioned that anyone who gives information about a Maoist to the police will face such consequences. As per the Maoist note, he has been sentenced to death in a Kangaroo court for collaborating with the police in anti-Maoist activities. After several Maoists were killed in police encounters in the past few days, the Maoist organizations have become bloodthirsty. The police have intensified the operation.
