Odisha Weather Alert: Temperature to Rise from tomorrow, Alert issued for dense fog

Bhubaneswar: Temperature will increase from tomorrow. Yellow alert was issued for dense fog for coming 48 hours. The Regional Meteorological Department predicted on Wednesday. As per the information, mercury will rise in the State from tomorrow. According to the forecast of the Regional Meteorological Center, heat will be felt everywhere in the state. It is to be noted that the temperature has increased by 2 to 4 degrees above normal. Day and night temperatures will remain high for the next 4 to 5 days. Today, temperatures have increased in most cities of the state. Heat has been felt in some places in Odisha. The Meteorological Department has said that with the increase in temperature, dense fog will prevail for the next 48 hours. The weather will remain dry for the next 5 to 7 days and no change will be seen in the night temperature. An increase in temperature will be seen in interior Odisha. No change in temperature has been seen in coastal Odisha. A yellow alert of dense fog has been issued for 48 hours. Yellow warning has been issued for dense fog for the next 24 hours. The department has warned Malkangiri, Rayagada, Koraput, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Gajapati, Nayagarh, Khordha, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Angul, Dhenkanal, Deogarh, Jajpur, Keonjhar and Sambalpur districts. Similarly, yellow warning has been issued for dense fog in 11 districts tomorrow – Ganjam, Gajapati, Nayagarh, Khordha, Puri, Cuttack, Kendrapara, Angul, Jagatsinghpur, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj. Light to moderate fog will be seen in coastal Odisha on the 31st Jan.
