Lucknow, 30/1: Congress MP Rakesh Rathore, who was accused of rape, was arrested by the police from his residence in Uttar Pradesh’s Sitapur town while he was addressing a press conference on Thursday.
An FIR was lodged against Rathore, an MP from Sitapur Lok Sabha seat, around ten days back accusing him of rape of a 45-year old woman on the pretext of promoting her political career and marrying her.
