Burla, February 11, 2025: TPWODL (TP Western Odisha Distribution Limited) is happy to announce the successful completion and charging of a new and dedicated 11kV feeder line, connected to the 33/11kV PSS (Power Substation) Barpali. This new line features SCADA-enabled switchgear and will significantly enhance the power supply system in Barpali town and the surrounding area.
The new 11kV feeder line is designed to bifurcate the existing 11kV Barpali town feeder, addressing long-standing issues related to overloading and low voltage, which have affected the area’s power reliability. This new infrastructure is set to benefit approximately 5000 customers in the Barpali area, providing them with more stable and reliable electricity.
“We are excited to upgrade this important infrastructure at Barpali, a key area of Bargarh district. The charging of this feeder line will eliminate the long-standing consumer issues such as overloading and low voltage, providing our consumers with a more reliable power supply for their daily needs.” Said Shri Parveen Verma, CEO, TPWODL.
This development is part of TPWODL’s ongoing commitment to improving electricity distribution infrastructure and ensuring better service for its consumers. This project costs the company approximately one crore rupees.
