Kolkata, 14/2: NTPC, India’s largest integrated power utility with the installed capacity of more than 63 thousand MW and marks its 50th anniversary with the Electron Quiz 2025, running from February 1–28,2025 across nine regional locations that include Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Ranchi, Noida, Raipur, and Patna.
The Eastern Region round shall be organized on February 20, 2025, at Hyatt Regency, Salt Lake, Kolkata, over 120 teams are expected to participate from top 100 engineering and management institute s from Odisha, West Bengal, Assam and North East State’s.
The quiz, open to two-member teams, fosters knowledge, critical thinking, and industry-academia connections. Prizes include: First Winner: Rs 30,000, Second Runner-up: Rs 20,000, Third place: Rs 10,000 and Consolation prizes – fourth–sixth places: Rs 4,000 each.
The top two teams from each region will advance to the National Semi-Finals, with the best progressing to the National Finals.
Since 2004, the NTPC Electron Quiz has celebrated intellectual excellence. As NTPC turns 50, this edition embodies its legacy of progress, innovation, and knowledge.
