Khallikote: In a shocking incident, a notorious criminal was killed brutally by his nephew on Wednesday. This incident happened in Haripur village under Khallikote police station in Ganjam district. The deceased has been identified as Rabi Das. His nephew allegedly killed him following previous enmity. According to information, his nephew slaughtered his head using a sword. After that he exploded a bomb and ran away from the scene. He and three others fled the scene after committing the crime. According to information, some miscreants including his own nephew killed Rabi Das. He was released from jail only three months ago. There are many cases lodged against him at several police stations in the district. On receiving information, the Khallikote police reached the spot and started an investigation into the matter. Police launched a manhunt to nab the accused.
