Bhubaneswar, March 6, 2025 – Maitreyee Mishra, Assistant General Secretary of Jindal Foundation, was honored with the Women in CSR Award by FICCI FLO, the women’s wing of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). The award was presented to her by Dr. Harjinder Kaur Talwar, Vice President of CMSME FICCI FLO, at a ceremony held in Bhubaneswar.
Maitreyee was recognized for her significant contributions to the social welfare sector, particularly for her leadership in the Mission Zero Hunger initiative and various women empowerment programs under the Jindal Foundation. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Maitreyee played a key role in providing over 10 million hot meals to migrants and vulnerable communities across the country.
In her acceptance speech, Maitreyee thanked FICCI FLO for the recognition and expressed gratitude to Smt. Shallu Jindal, Chairperson of Jindal Foundation, for her ongoing support and inspiration. She also thanked Shri Naveen Jindal, Chairman of Jindal Steel and Power, for his visionary leadership and unwavering support in driving the Foundation’s initiatives. She further extended her thanks to the Jindal Foundation team and local communities for their help in carrying out the Foundation’s inclusive programs.
