Puri: The Chhatisha Nijog meeting of Puri Srimandira will be held today. Decisions will be made about proper execution of the rituals of the Dolapurnima in this meeting. As per reports, the Dolapurnima rituals will be held in Puri on March 14. On Dolapurnima, the representative idols will be taken out from the Srimandira and will be taken to the Dola Mandapa in a holy procession. At the Dola Mandapa the deities will play with colours amid presence of the devotees. Besides, some other special rituals will also be executed. The Chhatisha Nijog meeting will be held today evening to decide about all these upcoming happening. While in the meeting the Dola Purnima rituals will be decided, discussions will also be held about the ‘Mendhapodi’ scheduled to be held on March 13. Similarly, keeping in mind the intense heat condition in Puri, there may also be a discussion in this meeting on making special arrangements for the devotees inside and outside the Srimandira. The servitors of various Nijogs and the administrative officers of the Sri Mandira will be present in this meeting. The Chhatisha Nijog meeting will be held at the Sri Mandir office today at 5 pm.
