Bhubaneswar, March 10, 2025: Pankaj Satija, Executive-In-charge, Ferro Alloys and Minerals Division
(FAMD) of Tata Steel, has been conferred with the prestigious Global Sustainable Mining Award at the 3 rd
Odisha Mining and Infrastructure Conclave held in Bhubaneswar. His Excellency, the Governor of Odisha,
Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati presented the award to Satija for Honouring Excellence in Sustainable Mining
Practices by Recognising Innovation, Responsibility and Progress in the Industry.
Expressing gratitude for the coveted award, Satija said, “I am deeply honoured to receive this award, which is
a testament to our unwavering commitment to sustainable mining. At Tata Steel, we continuously strive to
innovate and implement responsible mining practices that contribute to mineral conservation, environmental
