Murder over water logging in farmland, two accused arrested, one absconded

SUBARNAPUR, 12/3 —- A murder over water logging in farmland took place on Monday evening in a paddy field of Lupursingha village under Lachhipur police station of Subarnapur district. In this, Kartik Bariha (50) of the said village was killed. His son Shiba Bariha filed a complaint in this regard at the police station. In the said incident, the police detained Daitari Padhan (40) and Shukru Bhue (70) of Lupursingha village and later arrested them. Another accused involved in this murder, Rama Bhue, is a absconding , according to police sources. The police have arrested two people in the Lupursingha murder incident in Lachhipur police station of Subarnapur district. In addition, the police have seized a Axe and a bamboo stick. The Subarnapur Supdt. Of Police informed this in a press conference held today. The murder was committed over a previous enmity. According to the information, the accused and the deceased were cultivating the land of the same owner. However, there was a fight between the two families at various times when both of them wanted to cultivate the entire land together. Last Monday evening, there was a fight between the two over the land, and the accused brutally killed Kartik, said Supdt. Of Police Ram Prasad Sahu, in a press conference. After investigating the incident, the Lachhipur police arrested the accused Daitari Padhan and Shukru Bhue , while it is reported that one of the accused is absconding. In this regard, Lachhipur police has registered a case No. 21/ Date -11/03/2O25 U/s -103 (i) 126(2)115(2) 296/109(i)3(5) BNS /3(I)(i) (3)3(2)(va )SC & ST ( POA ) Act.
