Jindal Stainless concludes 54th National Safety Week with grand celebrations

Bhubaneswar, March 17, 2025: Jindal Stainless, Jajpur, successfully concluded the 54th
National Safety Week on March 12 with grand celebrations. The event was graced by
Assistant Director, The Directorate of Factories and Boilers, Jajpur Road Division, Shri
Ganeshwar Mardi, as the Chief Guest, along with Unit Head, Jindal Stainless, Mr Deepak
Agrawal; HR&IR Head, Jindal Stainless, Mr Rakesh Pathak; and Head of Fire & Safety, Mr
Manoj Kumar Bal, and other department heads. Over 3,000 employees and workers
participated in the event.
The highlight of the celebration was the vibrant safety rallies organised by various
departments. Employees presented an impactful play, Zero Accidents, reinforcing this year’s
theme, “Safety and Health – Essential for a Developed India.” The play emphasised accident
prevention and the importance of safety awareness at every moment.
Shri Ganeshwar Mardi applauded Jindal Stainless for its commitment to safety, highlighting
its national and international recognitions and the achievement of zero accidents last year.
He urged all employees to uphold strict safety protocols. Unit Head, Jindal Stainless, Mr
Deepak Agrawal reaffirmed the company’s dedication to workplace safety, stating, “Safety is
not just a priority but a core value at Jindal Stainless. Our commitment to a zero-accident
workplace drives us to continually strengthen our safety culture and ensure the well-being
of every employee.”
Throughout the week-long program, activities such as safety slogans, posters, quizzes,
speech competitions, PPE races, and safety awareness initiatives for children were
conducted. The event concluded with the felicitation of employees and departments for
their commitment to safety, reinforcing Jindal Stainless’ resolve to maintain and enhance
workplace safety standards.
