Udala: The police arrested three individuals including a school teacher in a job scandal in Udala under Khunta police limits of Mayurbhanj district on Thursday night. Around 15 candidates have fallen prey to the job scandal from Udala, Khunta, Baripada and Jharpokharia. These individuals were charging hefty fees on the pretext of giving government jobs and had allegedly looted many candidates. The school teacher identified as Manoj Acharya was actively involved in the job scandal. A complaint was lodged in December by the incumbent ABEO’s nephew. He wrote in his complaint,” The racket had taken Rs 1.30 lakh as advance and had a pact to take Rs 40,000 after the placement. “ Doubt arose in his mind after the gang did not attend his calls and avoided him. Finding no other resolute, he lodged a complaint with the Khunta police. After investigation police busted three individuals in the job scandal.
