Rayagada :- On March the Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) academic audit team visited the Gandhi Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) in Rayagada. The team, comprising Prof. Rabindra Kumar Sahu from VSSUT and Prof. Arunanshu Mohapatra from Burla University, conducted an inspection of the institute.
During the presentation, GIST Director Prof. P.N. Singh highlighted the institute’s success journey, education practices, research and development, skill development programs, and achievements of staff and students. He also discussed the institute’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges.
The team inspected the institute’s infrastructure, facilities, and relevant documents. They visited laboratories, classrooms, and centers of excellence, praising the institute’s infrastructure and staff performance.
During an exit meeting with staff, Dr. Sahu commended the team’s efforts, particularly the performance of Acting Principal Dilip Kumar Mishra, Kali Prasad Acharya, and Administrative Officer Goutam Pattanayak. The team submitted their evaluation report to the Director.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by Goutam Pattanayak and Kali Prasad Acharya.
