Odisha heat wave Alert: Temperature to soar 6 Degrees from tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: After relief for a few days due to rain, now temperatures will again rise in Odisha from today. The MeT Department has speculated that mercury will rise by 6 degrees from tomorrow. After the Norwester (Kalbaisakhi) brought some relief for few days bringing rain to the State, now the weather will again remain dry in the most part of the state except for some areas in the coastal districts today. In the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of rain and thunderstorms in some areas of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack and Jagatsinghpur. For this, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow warning for the above districts. On the other hand, as the western storm system has withdrawn, temperatures will rise by 4 to 6 degrees from today bringing scorching heat. In the next 4 to 5 days, the maximum temperature is likely to increase by 4 to 6 degrees in various parts of the state. As a result, the Meteorological Department has predicted that there will be a humid day and night.
