Jammu and Kashmir: Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden in Srinagar of Jammu and Kashmir is all set to open to the public tomorrow that is on March 26. According to reports, the Floriculture Officer and In-charge of Tulip Garden Javaid Masood told ANI, “17 lakh Tulips will be on display here. The CM has consented to open the garden to the public tomorrow. The final preparations are underway. We received 4.5 lakh tourists last year. We hope to break the last year’s record this year. He further added, “We have experimented with new varieties of flowers and colour schemes. The garden has attracted many tourists to J&K and helped the local economy.” The gardener of the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden Mohamad Abbass, told ANI, “The Tulip Garden is fully ready to be opened to the public. This year, we are expecting over 5.5 lakh tourists. It will be a great flower show this year. We have added two more varieties of Tulips.”
