Talcher: In a police encounter, notorious criminal Susanta Nayak is critically injured in the Scotlandpur jungles in Angul district. The bullet has hit the left leg of the criminal on Thursday. According to information, the notorious criminal was hiding in the Scotlandpur jungles. Acting on a tip off, the police reached the forest and was searching for the accused. On seeing the police, Susanta fired three rounds of bullets. The police retaliated and the bullet hit the accused left leg. He was rushed to the District headquarters Hospital (DHH) in Angul. He is a history-sheeter and has many complaints in his name at several police stations in the district. Police have arrested another man along with Susanta.
