Subarnapur,7/4:With the aim of providing quality electricity service to the people of the state, the 33/11 KV. Deulapadar Power Substation, in the third phase of the ODSSP scheme, has been inaugurated by the Honorable Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Kanak Vardhhan Singhdeo. This power station will provide four 11 KV. About 4000 different (domestic, commercial, industrial and agricultural) consumers of 19 settlements Narayanpur, Singhbahali, Kadalipali, Tilaimaal, Deulapadar, Sagartal, Naikenpali, Paikbahal, Dahimal, Brahmanipali, Rajapali, Khemediamunda, Jhankarpali, Luhurapali, Saharapali, Pipilipali, Rengali, Kudadera under the feeder Narayanpur, Deulapadar, Paikbahal and Lachhipur will get continuous and quality electricity service through this power substation. About 550 agricultural consumers and deep tube well projects of the region will be particularly benefited by the operationalization of this power substation. The guests of honour at the inauguration ceremony held at Tarbha Block Deulapadar were Hon’ble Member of Parliament Balangir Lok Sabha Mrs. Sangita Kumari Singhdeo, Collector Subarnapur Mrs. Anya Das, Supdt. Of Police Shri Ramprasad Sahu, TPWODL CEO Er.Praveen Barma. Local leaders, Panchayat level public representatives, various officials, Electricity Department officials, and media representatives were present on the occasion. It has been informed that the construction of this grid power station started on 21 January 2016 and was completed on 7 April 2025. The program was coordinated by Manoj Patnaik, Head of Public Relations Department, while TPWODL Executive Engineer Er. Ashok Kumar Mishra proposed the vote of thanks.
