To combat cross-border threats, Amit Shah announces high tech surveillance along LoC in J&K

Srinagar, 7/4: Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced on Monday that electronic surveillance systems will soon be deployed along the Line of Control (LoC) to address the growing threat of cross-border tunnels and frequent intrusion attempts from Pakistan.On the second day of his three-day visit to J&K, Shah made the announcement while addressing Border Security Force (BSF) personnel at the border outpost ‘Vinay’ in the Hiranagar sector of Kathua district.
