Ganjam: As many as 20 passengers have been injured as a bus hit a truck on the National Highway 16 near Langaleswar of Khallikote in Ganjam district. According to reports, a private bus named Balunkeswar was going from Bhubaneswar to Aska when the incident happened. The bus coming behind the truck hit it in a bid to overtake it. Following the incident, the bus driver, conductor and the helper fled the scene. All the injured were rushed to Khallikote hospital for treatment. On receiving information, police reached the spot and started an investigation into the matter. On the other hand, police sent the less injured passengers by another bus to their destinations.
