Odisha CM to visit Maa Tarini temple in Ghatagan today for Chaiti Parva

Kenojhar: Odisha chief minister Mohan Charan Majhi is scheduled to visit the famous Maa Tarini temple in Ghatagan of Keonjhar district today. He will avail darshan of Maa Tarini who is appearing before the devotees in the famous golden attire or ‘suna besha’. As per reports, CM Mohan Charan Majhi will participate in the Hanuman Jayanti celebration this is being held at the Labanya chhaka. The CM will have darshan of Maa Tarini in the golden attire. It is to be noted that the Pana Sankranti day is the main day of the famous Chaiti parva of Maa Tarini of Ghatagon. This year the 89th Chaiti Parva is being celebrated at the famous shine of Maa Tarini, the presiding deity of Keonjhar district in Ghatagon in Keonjhar district of Odisha. She is also known as ‘Nadia Rani’ (Coconut queen) as people from all over Odisha send coconut to Maa Tarini’s pitha as an offering and every passenger bus management takes it to the temple without hesitation and without any fee.
