CM Mohan Majhi approves creation of 2500 Home guard posts in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has approved the proposal for the creation of 2500 Home guard posts in Odisha today. The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) has informed about the creation of 2500 Home guard posts in Odisha. Currently there are 17,675 home guard posts in the state. Following the creation of 2500 posts the total number of posts will rise to 20,175. It is worth noting that the Chief Minister had earlier announced an increase in the number of posts in the state police force to strengthen the law and order situation in the state. The Chief Minister has earlier announced that about 12,000 posts will be created in various branches of the state police department.
