Gunupur:(AO Bureau):- Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology University has conducted a two-day international seminar commencing with 17th, September, 2022 under the theme of “Confluence of Science and Engineering Exploring New Frontiers”.  This unique program has started with lighting the lamp followed by invoking God’s blessings.

Dean of Engineering and Technology Prof. A. B. Srinivasa Rao in his speech reminded the need of hour to combine science and engineering in new frontiers. The Dean of Academics, Prof. AVNL Sarma advised participants to update their knowledge from time to time.  Prof. T.Ch. Behera, Dean SoS in his speech said the co-relation between Science and Technology. The chief guest of the seminar Prof. A. K. Mishra, IIT-Madras asked the participants to be innovative and show expertise in the field of science and technology. This inaugural session is chaired by Prof. Dillip Kumar Pattanaik, HoD, Basic Seiences and Humanities, who stressed fusion of science and technology and vote of thanks is proposed by Dr. Jithendra Sahoo, Assistant Professor. Prof. Satya Prakash Panda, President, Prof. Chandra Dhwaj Panda, Vice-president, Prof. Jagadish Panda, Director General, Prof. Goutam Ghosh, Vice-chancellor and the Registrar Prof. N.V.Jagannadha Rao appreciated the efforts made by the faculty of Department of Basic Seiences and Humanities. The gathering includes faculty, research scholars and students. The technical session is carried out by many keynote speakers from abroad through virtual mode. The day’s session sucessfully ended with cultural programmes.
