Umerkote: In a tragic incident, 6 persons turned critical after a jatra party vehicle overturned in Nabarangpur district of Odisha on Tuesday. The accident took place on the Jharigam-Chandahandi Ghat road. Six artists have been critically injured in the incident.As per the information received, the jatra party artists were returning in the vehicle after performing in a show yesterday night in Mundibeda. While traversing the Jharigam-Chandahandi ghat road, the driver lost control over the steering and the vehicle overturned. Six people who were travelling in the vehicle, were thrown off the vehicle onto the roadside due to the severity of the impact.Locals passing by the spot noticed the accident and rushed the injured persons to the hospital in critical condition. However, as the health condition of one of them further deteriorated, he was then shifted to the Nabarangapur District Headquarters Hospital for advanced medical care.
