Malkangiri AO correspondent 20. 07. 2025, on the instructions of Excise Collector Shri Bimbadhar Panda, the Malkangiri Excise Department seized 844 kg of ganja from Sadaram and Kodigandi forests under Jodaamba police station, estimated to be worth Rs. 440,000. It was revealed that the said ganja was hidden in the forest to be smuggled to other states. A case has been registered in this regard and further investigation has been ordered.
