New Delhi, 29/7: Ambaram Meghwal has finally succeeded in stirring the administration up from slumber after 55 days of silent protest in Barmer, which is about 800km from Delhi — the epicentre of the youth protest against a corrupt education system.
Meghwal, who is in his sixties, endured the heat and rain to protest against land grabbing by Rana Rajputs in his village Dedusar. He sat in front of of the District Collectorate in Barmer for days without support or media coverage.
