Bengaluru, 17/8: The proceedings in the Karnataka Assembly were disrupted on Monday as the NDA insisted on the resignation of scam-accused Planning, Programme Monitoring & Statistics Minister B Nagendra.
BJP-JD(S) MLAs led by Leader of the Opposition R Ashoka protested Nagendra’s re-induction into the Cabinet (he had resigned after allegations of embezzlement of Rs 187 crore in the Maharshi Valmiki Corporation surfaced in 2024.
