New Delhi, 18/8: The controversial PM-CARES fund collected Rs 1,162.92 crore as donation from within and outside the country in 2023-24 and 2024-25 but spent just Rs 16.47 crore during this period, according to audit reports.
In 2024-25, the fund collected Rs 479.97 crore as donations while it spent just Rs 87.85 lakh on children whoA lost their parents to Covid-19. In 2023-24, it collected Rs 682.94 crore and spent Rs 15.59 crore.
