Massive fire in Cuttack guts four rooms; 50 goats burnt to death

A massive fire broke out in Cuttack district of Odisha on Monday, engulfing four rooms of a house. The fire reportedly claimed the lives of 50 goats kept in a cowshed.The incident took place at Suanlo village in Niali of Cuttack district. The four rooms of the house were completely damaged in the fire, while 50 goats died after being trapped in the blaze.What Led to the Fire?According to reports, the fire started from the smoke in the cowshed and soon spread to the house. Four rooms were completely burnt and reduced to ashes in the incident.A total of 65 goats were reportedly kept inside the cowshed when the fire broke out. Of them, 50 goats were burnt to death in the blaze. 15 goats remain injured.On getting the information, the Fire Services Department reached the spot and started efforts to bring the flames under control. Devastated by the situation, the house owner said, “The fire started in the cowshed, and the smoke reached the kitchen. The LPG cylinder kept in the kitchen then caught fire, causing the situation to go out of control. I had 65 goats, of which 50 died in the fire.”
