NML Dulanga Organises Mushroom Cultivation Workshop to Promote Sustainable Livelihoods

Dulanga,: NTPC Mining Limited (NML), Dulanga Coal Mining Project, organised a Mushroom Cultivation Workshop for local villagers and Project Affected Persons (PAPs) of the R&R Colony as part of its continued Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and community development initiatives. The programme was facilitated by the Prerana Ladies Club. The workshop focused on imparting practical knowledge and essential skills in mushroom cultivation, enabling participants to explore sustainable livelihood opportunities and supplementary sources of income. Participants were also sensitised on techniques related to market linkages, value creation and avenues for better commercialisation of mushroom produce. Smt. Achani Ngullie, Acting President, Prerana Ladies Club, along with members of the Ladies Club, participated in and facilitated the workshop. Shri Navin Amitabh Baxla, Head of HR, and Shri Ekonthung Ngullie, AGM (TS), along with senior management officials, were also present on the occasion. The initiative reflects NML Dulanga’s commitment towards inclusive and sustainable community development through CSR, with a focus on skill development, livelihood enhancement and economic empowerment of local communities and PAPs.
