Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is scheduled to embark on a high-profile visit to Sambalpur, bringing a slew of development gifts for the district on the auspicious occasion of Nuakhai.With administrative preparations running in full swing, security teams and local officials have finalized arrangements for the Chief Minister’s tightly packed itinerary.According to the official schedule, the Chief Minister will depart from the Bhubaneswar airport by helicopter and land at the Jamadarpali Airstrip at 10:00 AM. Travelling by road, he will first inaugurate the newly built Doppler Radar Centre. Following this, at 10:45 AM, he will grace a special event at the Gangadhar Meher University (GMU) auditorium, where he will virtually lay foundation stones and inaugurate several regional projects.After completing his engagements in Sambalpur, CM Majhi will return to the Jamadarpali airstrip to fly to Kuchinda. There, he is scheduled to visit the residence of Panchayati Raj Minister and Kuchinda MLA Rabi Narayan Naik to attend a family condolence and memorial function before heading back to Bhubaneswar. A host of ministers, MPs, and MLAs are expected to accompany the Chief Minister during this visit.While Nuakhai is a state-declared holiday, the high-stakes ministerial visit has kept top administrative officials, police forces, and government employees on active duty.
