Today i.e. on 29.09.2026, Kunja Bihari Jena, Former Junior Clerk-cum-Bench Clerk of the Revenue Officer, O/o-Sub-Collector, Panposh, Raurkela, Dist-Sundaragada (Retired), who was charge sheeted by Odisha Vigilance in a case U/s 13(2) r/w 13(1)(d)/7 PC Act,1988 for demanding and taking bribe from a complainant in order to intimate the next date of hearing of a land dispute case and to help in the matter, was convicted by Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Sundaragada and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 1 year and fine. Odisha Vigilance will now move the competent authority for stoppage of pension of Kunja Bihari Jena, Former Junior Clerk-cum-Bench Clerk of the Revenue Officer, O/o-Sub-Collector, Panposh, Raurkela, Dist-Sundaragada (Retired) following his conviction.
