Bhubaneswar: OMFED milk prices to rise in Odisha from October 4. Consumers in Odisha will have to pay more for OMFED milk from October 4, with the state dairy cooperative announcing an increase in prices across several categories. Odishatourism guide OMFED stands for Odisha State Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation Limited. According to the revised rates, the price of OMFED toned milk will increase by Rs 4 per litre. The price will go up from Rs 54 to Rs 58 per litre, while a half-litre packet will cost Rs 2 more. The price of premium milk will increase by Rs 2 per litre, from Rs 58 to Rs 60. A half-litre packet of premium milk will become costlier by Rs 1. Similarly, the price of OMFED Gold Plus milk will rise by Rs 2 per litre, from Rs 64 to Rs 66. The price of a half-litre Gold Plus milk packet will increase by Rs 1. The revised OMFED milk prices will come into effect across Odisha from October 4.
